Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities regarding the use of the UpFinance service (the "Service") operated by Starium Finance (the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to the household ledger, receipt scanning, budget management, AI financial analysis, and related services provided by the Company.
  2. "Financial information" refers to the user's income, expenses, assets, transaction history, and similar data.

Article 3 (Provision of Service)

The Company provides the following services:

  • Income/expense tracking and automatic categorization
  • Receipt OCR scanning and automatic entry
  • Budget management and alerts
  • AI-based spending analysis and advice
  • Tax calculation and reports
  • Asset portfolio management

Article 4 (Financial Information Disclaimer)

  1. The financial analysis and advice provided by this Service are for reference only and do not replace professional investment advice.
  2. Investment decisions are the user's own responsibility, and the Company is not liable for investment losses.
  3. The accuracy of information provided by the Service is not guaranteed; please consult a professional before making investment decisions.

Article 5 (OCR Accuracy)

The receipt scanning (OCR) feature may vary in recognition accuracy depending on image quality, format, and other factors. 100% accuracy of OCR results is not guaranteed, and the user is responsible for reviewing and, if necessary, correcting scan results.

Article 6 (Registration and Withdrawal)

  1. Users register by agreeing to the terms and entering their member information.
  2. Members may withdraw at any time; upon withdrawal, financial data is retained and then destroyed in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 7 (User Obligations)

  • No registration of false information
  • No misuse of others' information
  • No use of the Service for illegal purposes
  • Responsibility for maintaining the accuracy of financial data

Article 8 (Privacy Protection)

The Company securely protects users' personal and financial information. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is exempt from liability when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
  2. The Company is not responsible for the accuracy of financial data entered by the user.
  3. The Company is not responsible for failures of external financial institution integration services.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

Disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the competent court shall be the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location.

Supplementary Provisions

These terms take effect on February 5, 2026.
